A HANDBOOK FOR INFORMAL TRADERSENGAGEMENT IN FAIR TAX ADVOCACY

Over the last six years, TISA has been working with informal traders at the
national and county level to highlight the challenges they face in the informal sector and propose solutions to the challenges faced.
Tisa’s work in informal trade spans from 2018 through a program that
explored the vulnerable their challenges in the informal sector and propose solutions to them their challenges in the informal sector and propose

informal traders have constantly decried the complex tax procedures and
the unfair taxation measures which make it hard and expensive for them to
be tax compliant and bring up the cost of doing business in addition to the
high and unfair taxation rates they are subjected to.
