TOWARDS GENDER BALANCE

The study was developed with the main aim of identifying factors that keep women from
accessing government procurement opportunities and providing salient recommendations to
overcome these barriers.
TISA wishes to specially acknowledge and appreciate the support of the International
Development Research Centre (IDRC) under its Growth and Economic Opportunities for Women
(GROW) East Africa programme through the Africa Freedom of Information Centre (AFIC) and
